we've had a rough night. he got more pain meds around 4 am. he is begging for us to do something about the pain in his hips and his legs. that is worse than anything for him right now. the nurses don't know what to do and neither do i. i think it is just from being still but he has been very consistent from his recovery until now that his legs hurt. he can move them but not stand. i've been rubbing his thighs and butt to try to help. they have pressure cuffs on his legs for clots.
he's quiet now but he's hurting a bunch. its all worth it. that's what i keep telling him.
