home

we got home around 415 today. the morning at the doctor's office drove me nuts becuase i wanted to get on the road so bad. unfortunately mark had a terrible night trying to sleep and had bad pain this morning. he was really set back from yesterday but that happens. he is going ot have bad days and today was one of them. we got his stitches out which was good but they are still a little juicy. we have to leave everything alone for 2 more days before we should even try to clean anything.

the ride home was 4.5 hours but it took us about 5.5 with stops. mark was in bad pain. we first laid him down in the back all the way flat but that was terrible. then we tried across the back bench of seats which ended up doing better.

now we are home! the doggies sure missed us :) then i went with my dad to get the kids and that was the best ever. i really missed my children. i think they got SPOILED this week with aunt teresa but i don't blame her. they are wonderful kids.

my freezer is packed with fun stuff from concerned friends and anonymous supporters. thank you to EVERYONE who sent us stuff. it will take me a little bit to get through all of them but with company here the next two weeks, i really appreciate the fact that i don't have to cook. all of the food looks wonderful by the way.

anyway - i'll write more tomorrow but the bottom line is we are home. all of us :)
